About Us

We may be a tiny church, but we believe completely in Jesus's commission to the disciples to "go into ALL of the world and teach all nations, kindreds, tongues and peoples" in Matthew.

We have had many members who were missionaries in far lands.  They have gone to Africa's many nations,  Russia, Taiwan, Central America, South America, Guam, and last fall we had a missionary serve in India.  He was part of a team that held meetings in the towns and villages, and  our conference president reported that so far there have been over 7,000 baptisms from their efforts. Praise the Lord.

We also believe that our own backyard and homes are our missions for the Lord too. Whether we are teaching our children, or witnessing to friends and neighbors, or going to far off lands,  we are to be about our Father's business.

This little butterfly was lying in my yard last Sabbath when I picked the flowers for a boquet for church... He didnt move or anything, so I thought he was dead from the cold.  I took him to church sitting on one of the flowers. He sat all through church, and I took the flowers next door afterward for potluck, and he revived.  The children named him "Lazarus" because he was 'resurrected'.  Well, little Lazarus is still alive, and maybe I will take him to church again this week? ...   {update Feb 07, my son informs me that this is a female butterfly.}

About Seventh-day Adventists

Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. More >>
