Little Country Church

    

Greetings, 

Welcome to the Willow Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church's Website. We are a small country church in South Central Missouri. 

If you ever come our way, be sure to stop in and visit us on Sabbaths. We have Sabbath School at 9:30 am. The children's classes are exceptionally nice. Adults have their Sabbath School in the main sanctuary. Between Sabbath School and Church services we have praise and singing. And in church we pray for everyone's special requests. We are handicapped accessible. There is a vegetarian fellowship dinner after church every week and all are welcome. Then we can get acquainted with each other and our visitors better.  

We have been busy as beavers the last few months fixing and improving our church facility. We have a new sign out front, the outside is freshly painted, the plaster is repaired, we are making a prayer garden on the street side of the church, the ramp on the parking lot side is closed in and storage space is made underneath for things like the lawnmower and garden hoses, and other large tools. We did some things you may not notice such as repair faulty wiring and bring it up to new safety codes, we put in a pump to keep our basement dry in rainy weather. God has provided for all of the needs.  Our Fellowship Room now has storage closets for Sabbath School and cleaning supplies. We hope to be able to install new carpet in there soon, as the current one is worn out.  There is also a beautiful gate between our buildings on the street side to provide discreet storage for extra donations when needed. 

We recently changed prayer meetings to Wednesday evenings. We have Prayer Meeting with Bible Study and prayer. We study different Bible topics... Currently, we are studying how to be a better witness for the Lord. We also hope to begin a Women's Ministry program shortly.  Many prayers are being answered for our little church, and the people we serve. 

Our Community Services Center is open on Tuesdays from 9 am to 1 pm, and is a very busy little center. This week we had a record of nearly 40 families who came for help. Some of our clients also volunteer at the center and help us keep up with all of the donations and housekeeping chores. They even witness and tell us how the Lord has blessed them. Community Services has been bursting at the seams with the Lord's blessings, and we are sharing them as fast as we can. Several times we have sent over 50 bags and boxes of clothing and household items to Victory Mission in Springfield!

This picture on the left is of our church a few years back when we still had our steeple It was taken by myself. It had to come off when we got a new roof.  The picture on the right was recently taken by our Pastor, John Knobloch.
